Speedfest is our onsite consumer show, encompassing two halls and concourse of the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. The Champ Car and support paddocks are situated in adjacent halls. The consumer show atmosphere creates excellent sales and promotional opportunities.
The focal point of the site is Straightaway Alley. It is located on San Carlos St. between Market st. and Almaden Blvd. This area is our busiest location and draws the most foot traffic and is a highly desirable location to sell/ promote your products and or services.
Pitstop Park is located in Cesar Chavez Park and is one of the main entrances to the site, thus creating a high traffic prime area at the race. Pitstop Park also houses one of the largest grandstands on site and a bridge over the track to Straight-away alley.
Discovery Meadow was a new addition for the 2006 Race. It was a great success, hosting the bulk of the off track entertainment and interactive displays. For the 2007 race Discovery Meadow will host the main stage with many musical acts as well as the miss San José Grand Prix, as well as the exciting and action packed entertainment. This area is mainly designated to large interactive displays.
