Purchase your VTA 8-Hour Light Rail Excursion Pass on the way to the race and save time and money. Excursion Passes sold only at VTA light rail ticket vending machines located on station platforms. Traveling from San Francisco and the Peninsula • Caltrain - Caltrain San José Diridon Station. • SamTrans - Regular service to Menlo Park and Palo Alto Caltrain. Connect with VTA or Caltrain for service to downtown San José. Traveling from the East Bay • BART - Regular service to Fremont BART Station. Connect with VTA's 180 Express for service to downtown San José. • AC Transit - Regular Line 217 service to the Great Mall/Main Transit Center in Milpitas.
