Media credential applications are now being accepted for the 2007 San José Grand Prix. Each application -- authored and signed by a managing editor, sports editor or producer - should be returned via fax or mail to the address listed below. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Due to safety regulations, shorts and open-toed shoes are not permitted in the pit or paddock areas. Shirts (fully-covered shoulders) must be worn as well. Smoking is not permitted in the pit or paddock area at any time. PLEASE NOTE THAT ONLY ACCREDITED PHOTOGRAPHERS ON ASSIGNMENT FOR RECOGNIZED NEWS MEDIA WILL BE PERMITTED TO PHOTOGRAPH THE SAN JOSÉ GRAND PRIX. FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHERS SHOOTING WITHOUT SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENT WILL NOT BE CREDENTIALED PER CHAMP CAR POLICY. EACH accredited individual will be required to pick-up their credential in person at the credential office, located at the Sainte Claire Hotel (302 South Market Street). Office hours and location will be announced in the weeks leading up to the race. Please note that photo ID is required for obtaining credentials.
